Pongal 2009
Then came Pongal 2009. Pongal is a 'harvest festival', a celebration of the prosperity associated with the harvest by thanking the rain, sun and the animals (especially cows) that have helped in the harvest. It is festival denoting our hopes and wishes that the year ahead would be a lucky and prosperous one.
We performed at Changkat CC in front of Guest-of-Honour Ms Irene Ng as well as the many guests who came for the gala event. It was a lovely night all through and we definitely enjoyed the colours and festive atmosphere.
